We are looking for writers around the world that can share their unique perspective on Fighting Arts travel, art, music, movies, food, chefs, entertainment and or fashion trends that are occurring in their city or region. While we are primarily interested in Lifestyle content based on your personal experiences and/or professional expertise. Your unique point of view will provide readers around the world a fresh, novel perspective on training and playing in your part of the world.

The Type Of Articles We Welcome

Our community is made up of health oriented combat athletes not only striving to achieve optimal physical performance, but when they are not training they are looking for ways to relax and enjoy their down time. The content you provide will help our readers achieve their lifestyle informational needs. You are welcome to submit articles in your area of expertise or interest that relate to the overarching categories below. 

We are particularly interested in your point of view on:

  • Travel (to architecturally or visually stunning dojos or insights about innovative trainers)
  • Fashion (trends emerging in the fighting arts community)
  • Food / Chefs (that are martial artists or create food based on the principles of budo)
  • Movies / TV
  • Music
  • Art
  • Other culturally related events or activities
  • We would also be interested in any type of product review experience you have as well

If you would like to understand the stories we seek out, please read posts by Jordan Newmark. They illustrate the type of stories that we seek to bring to our audience. Lastly, we have credentialed Subject Matter Experts that write and or oversee our conditioning, nutrition, recovery and injury management content, please do not submit content ideas in these areas.

Submitting Your Ideas For Consideration

Please use the Contact Us page as the mechanism to submit your ideas to us. In the subject line, please write Idea Submission. In the body of  the email, please insert three different topic ideas, briefly explain the nature of each story, and how you would bring that story to life in a unique, captivating and entertaining manner. In addition, we would also need to know what your compensation expectation. Lastly, please include your contact information; telephone number and email address.

We will get back to you as quickly as possible, but please allow seven days for us to get back to you. If you have not heard back from us after seven days, then it is likely our editorial team has deemed that the ideas are not a good fit with our editorial approach. Idea submissions that fail to follow the brief process listed above will not be considered.
